I’ve learnt so much from Vibha and her fabulous team; Spurthy and Yashaswini about this ancient tradition of Tanjore artwork. I’ve done 2 DIYs and 1 online class and I believe they can make anyone masterful in Tanjore painting through their wonderful teaching skills, patience and dedication. I do love receiving the Tanjore Collective kit in the mail with all its beautiful materials, everything we’ll need to make a gorgeous painting. I very much look forward to joining many more classes with them and further fuelling this new addiction.This is Manasa, and I have just completed my first Tanjore painting of Lord Ganesha. I am deeply grateful to Vibha and her team for offering such wonderful courses and for allowing me to be one of her students. After seeing Vibha’s Balaji frame, I made sure to join her next course on Lord Ganesha. Vibha is very down to earth and greets everyone with a warm smile every day. She is extremely knowledgeable and shared every detail — from purchasing the right materials to the step-by-step process — which made learning easy and enjoyable. First came the embossing, then my favourite part: applying the gold foil. She taught us how to work on intricate details in a simple and approachable way. When it came to painting, I must say Vibha truly has magic in her hands. Her brush strokes are so precise, and we were encouraged to choose our own colours. Our batch ended up creating especially vibrant and colourful Ganeshas. The entire journey was filled with enthusiasm, joy, and a constant eagerness to learn more. Vibha, Spoorthi, and Yashu were always by our side at every step, helping us correct and refine our paintings. I especially loved the offline classes, as I got to meet so many people with similar interests. I will truly miss everyone. Lastly, a big, heartfelt thank you to the entire team.

I recently completed my first Tanjore painting of Lord Ganesha. As a complete beginner, I had a wonderful experience attending the offline class. This was my first experience with this traditional art form, and I was amazed at how detailed and beautiful the process is. Vibha, Spoorthy, Yashaswini were very supportive and explained each step clearly from preparing and applying the gesso to gold foil application and intricate detailing. This offline class allowed us for hands-on learning and immediate corrections, which was very helpful, especially for a beginner like me. Looking forward to more such sessions. I had an amazing learning experience from Tanjore collective. I did Annapoorneshwari painting and this was my first ever art work to come in a canvas board! (never had hold paintbrush before this class😅) All the credit goes to these wonderful teachers. Vibha’s painting and stone work and Yash’s embossing work along with Spurty’s painting in terms of quality, techniques, tricks and tips have really shown me how much intricate knowledge they have had acquired on this art form over years.
