A living heirloom, made for generations
Tanjore painting is one of India's oldest surviving art forms, born in the courts of Thanjavur over 400 years ago and devoted, above all, to the divine. Each work is built up slowly by hand: the canvas prepared, the figures sketched, the relief raised, the stones set, and finally the gold laid leaf by leaf until the deity seems lit from within.
When you bring one of our paintings home, you bring home that legacy - a piece made to be treasured today and handed down for generations.
