Meenakshi had always dreamed of learning Tanjore painting. Living in Nagarbhavi, Bangalore, she discovered Tanjore Collective through Google and found the perfect place to begin.
Meenakshi had always dreamed of learning Tanjore painting. Living in Nagarbhavi, Bangalore, she had been searching for the right place, the right guidance, and a learning environment where she could begin her artistic journey with confidence. For a long time, she wasn’t sure where to enroll or how to get started.
After discovering Tanjore Collective through a Google search and connecting with Vibha, she decided to join the Studio Course, a decision that transformed her long-time wish into a hands-on, immersive learning experience.
What followed was a warm, encouraging, and carefully guided journey that helped her complete her first Tanjore painting with confidence.
Starting as a Beginner at the Studio
Walking into the studio for the first time, Meenakshi wasn’t sure what to expect. Though she was eager to learn, the complexity of Tanjore painting made her wonder if she could truly do justice to the art.

Completing Her First Tanjore Painting
By the end of her learning journey, Meenakshi completed her 12" × 15" Tanjore artwork, something she had wished for a long time.
Her painting became a testament to her dedication, patience, and the joy of finally fulfilling a dream.
