She Couldn’t Believe She Made It: Divya’s Saraswati Tanjore Painting Journey For Divya D, learning to paint Goddess Saraswati was more than an opportunity to create a beautiful Tanjore painting. It became an experience that changed the way she looked at the art form itself.
Divya joined the Saraswati Devi Studio Course at Tanjore Collective, where she spent 6.5 weeks learning and working on her painting in the studio. As the painting gradually came together, she began to understand just how much focus, patience and attention to detail goes into creating a traditional Tanjore painting.
And when she finally saw her completed painting, even she was surprised by what she had created.
