Keerthana Bhoopal had always been interested in art, even while building her career as a software developer. Although she was comfortable with drawing and painting, traditional Tanjore painting felt unfamiliar and challenging. When she came across the Lord Ganesha studio course, she decided it was the right opportunity to finally explore this intricate art form.
This became Keerthana’s journey into traditional painting, culminating in the completion of her first Ganesha artwork through a guided studio course.
Keerthana shares that while her professional life revolves around software development, she has always carried a deep passion for art. Drawing and painting were familiar to her—but traditional painting was a different world altogether.
“I knew I could paint and draw and everything, but not do this.”
That distinction became the turning point that led her to seek structured, studio-based learning.
Discovering Structure, Style, and Intricacy
What stood out to Keerthana from the beginning was the teaching approach. The studio’s emphasis on style, intricacy, and methodical guidance helped her understand a form of art she once believed was beyond her reach.
“Their style and intricate design teaching was very helpful.”
Each session added clarity—not just to the process, but to her confidence as well.
Completing What Once Felt Impossible
One of the most powerful moments in Keerthana’s journey was realizing she could complete a traditional Ganesha painting independently.
“So I’ve completed this on my own and I’m happy.”
This sense of accomplishment reflects what studio learning can truly offer—empowerment through practice, patience, and the right mentorship.
Learning Under Thoughtful Guidance
Keerthana credits the teaching and support she received throughout her journey, acknowledging how structured guidance played a crucial role in helping her reach the finish line.
“Under Vibhas, Spurthy and Yashaswini’s teaching, I’m happy to have finished my Ganesha painting.”
It wasn’t just about completing a painting—it was about trusting the process and seeing it through.
A Studio Experience That Encourages Growth
Keerthana’s story highlights how traditional art can coexist beautifully with modern careers. With the right environment and mentorship, learning something new—even something intricate—becomes achievable and deeply fulfilling.
Her journey is a reminder that passion, when nurtured in the right space, can lead to outcomes that feel both personal and transformative.
